17th Biennale of Sydney

After a dawn flight Jessica and I gathered together in NSW to attend the 17th Biennale of Sydney. Woven through zealous day were many unexpected delights. We christened the day with cafe lattes and almond croissants at The Renaissance and then meandered through the labyrinth of The Rocks Market where we admired beautifully embroidered and colorful Kashmir shawls, artisans' jewels, and "original" head bands decorated with feathers and vintage flowers. Later we had wine and lunch at The Cafe at MOMA, saw art works by Louise Borgeoise, Anhela Ellsworth and others and then took the ferry ride across the harbour to Cockatoo Island. At the closure of our day we sat under a star lit crows absorbing the energy of the night over drinks overlooking the harbour and the iconic Sydney Opera House.

Gathering new perspectives.

A gorgeous, exhilarating and inspiring day, in so many ways....
