Dinner Party Secrets

This evening as I stood in the kitchen in my gym gear, listening to a local Italian radio station, whistling and gently rolling homemade gnocchi between my hands, I felt like I was at home in North Carlton or down at Point Lonsdale preparing a meal for one of our many dinner parties.

It was fun to be able to cook, entertain and enjoy the company of some special friends.

The Menu: Chilled Moscato d'Asti served with pan fried zucchini flowers filled with mascapone Gorgonzola cheese, walnuts and pepper. Followed by potatoe gnocchi & braised veal, served with a ragu of onion, leek, mushrooms, peas and a little Chanti.
Music: Giovanni Allevi & Elixir.
Setting: Our simple Tuscan home enhanced by candlelight.
